Mt Hood Community College
Mt Hood Community College offers hands-on training for high-demand careers, particularly in nursing and various skilled trades. The nursing program provides a mix of in-class learning and practical experience, housed in the Bruning Center with simulation labs. MHCC also partners with numerous apprenticeship training centers, allowing students to earn a paycheck and benefits while gaining on-the-job experience in construction, building, and mechanical trades, and simultaneously earning college credits towards an Associate of Applied Science degree.
